MY VALUES
-
In short, love is love. Regardless of how your family looks, the relationship style you've chosen, your sexuality, or gender identity, you are welcome and I would be honored to work with you as your photographer.
-
Kindred Archive exists to help you tell your story. It's about going beyond appearances to something all together more beautiful and vulnerable. If you're looking for a perfectly posed photo of everyone in their best outfit smiling at the camera, I'm probably not your girl. However, if you're looking to document and celebrate this one wild and precious moment, then let's do this.
ABOUT ME
-
As a kid I developed a love of art thanks to my parents, who both encouraged my creative expression and exposed me to a variety of art forms ranging from painting to dance. They gave me my first camera at the age of 15 so I could take myspace pictures with my friends. Instead, I quickly fell in love with the medium and even went on to study photography and film making at Virginia Commonwealth University. I photographed my first wedding at 18, and I've been doing portraits and events in some capacity ever since (more than 16 years).
-
When I'm not photographing for Kindred Archive, I'm working on fine art projects, taking care of my two kids, reading, playing video games, walking my dogs, or rock climbing.
